Congratulations to our Cabela's National Team Champions
and to our victorious MWC Lake Winnebago winners!


All eyes were on Oshkosh, Wisconsin, June 5-6 when 362 two-person teams faced off on the legendary Lake Winnebago system in a dual tournament of world-record proportions.
A combination of the Cabela’s National Team Championship and Cabela’s Masters Walleye Circuit’s Lake Winnebago Central Division Qualifier, the event offered more than $350,000 in cash and prizes, including a pair of Ranger boats. It was also set for recognition by Guinness World Records as history’s largest fishing tournament.
Hometown heroes Michael Galligan and Stuart Wells, both of Oshkosh, were crowned NTC champions with a 10-fish limit weighing 26.24 pounds. The team was awarded $30,000 for first place plus owners of a new 619 Ranger.
On the MWC side, Greg DeKalb and Joe Ebel captured top honors and a $27,060 first-place paycheck in the season’s second Central Division qualifier with 10 fish weighing 28.63 pounds. In all, the top 35 teams shared a $100,360 cash purse plus $1,000 in Ranger Cup cash, $500 Lowrance HDS bonus, $500 Cabela’s Angler Cash, and $200 U2 Oxygenator bonus.

Walleye fans and world-record watchers alike will focus on Oshkosh, Wisconsin, June 5-6 when more than 300 two-person teams square off on the legendary Lake Winnebago system.
The event is a combination of the Cabela's National Team Championship and Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit's Lake Winnebago Central Division Qualifier, and set for recognition by Guinness World Records as history's largest fishing tournament.
