Ortonville Tournament
August 18 & 19, 2007
The Cabela's MWC returns to Ortonville, MN and Big Stone Lake, having last
been at this location in 2003. That year a father/son team, Terry and
John Oakes, put together an amazing nine fish weight of 35.53 lbs. to best
the 142 team field. The winners collected $19,000 plus an
additional $975 for

honors. Their 8.01 pound lunker was the largest of the
tournament.
There was a great crowd turn-out in 2003; approximately 2,000 spectators
cheered on the teams who weighed 788 walleyes weighing 1,480.57 lbs. The
all-time National Football League scoring champ, Gary Anderson of the
Minnesota Vikings, assisted onstage with the Saturday weigh-in. Come join us
